Search and Rescue Missions

Auxiliary operations can be a great asset to the Coast Guard when a search and rescue situation arises.  Often an Auxiliary boat can be on scene much quicker than a Coast Guard boat especially on the Caloosahatchee River.  Select auxiliary boat crews are on call.  Our special equipment and training allows us to do nearly everything the Coast Guard can do.  Many times we will co-ordinate efforts with the Coast Guard to cover a much larger area quicker than they could do by themselves.
